No covid restrictions will be in place for next week’s AERO General Aviation show being held at Friedrichshafen, Germany, the first to be held for two years.
AERO22 will take place from 27-30 April at the purpose-built exhibition centre adjacent to Friedrichshafen Airport.
The organisers said, “Rather than demanding rigorous hygiene and safety measures, the new regulations make each individual responsible for avoiding placing themselves or others at risk.
“While the mandatory use of face masks is omitted, we as the organiser suggest wearing masks to prevent an infection. However, it is incumbent upon any individual to do so.”
AERO22 is Europe’s leading international trade show for General Aviation, Business Aviation and air sports.
On display will be aircraft ranging from civilian drones to gliders, ultralights and gyrocopters, helicopters, touring and training aircraft with piston or turboprop engines and business jets.
New propulsion systems, electric flight, state-of-the-art avionics, services and accessories for pilots are further key areas.
Each day of the show will feature more than 50 conferences, lectures, product presentations and discussions on all major industry topics as well as on safety and practical flying.
Among the topics to be discussed are:
