Aerobility is looking for sponsors for its build-an-aeroplane project. The charity, which gives disabled people the opportunity to fly, is building its own aircraft, a Zenair CH750 STOL.
“The project is the first of its kind in that the aircraft will be built and flown by a team of disabled people,” said Aerobility.
“We’re looking for sponsors for individual parts of the aeroplane. Sponsor opportunities range from £250 to £10,000 and we’re very happy to accept half-sponsorship so even more people, organisations and companies can be a part of the dream.
“Our volunteer team has made incredible progress so far and are ready to make the most of our reduced flying schedule in the winter to make even more headway.”
