New French manufacturer Aura Aero showed a fully electric version of its two-seat aerobatic training aircraft at the Paris Air Show.
Called the Integrale E, it is also of interest to gliding clubs as a tow aircraft. It is operated by batteries that have an endurance of 60 minutes, and can be charged in less than 30 minutes and will begin test flying soon.
The Integrale E uses an electrical system from Safran.
Jérémy Caussade, President and co-founder of Aura Aero, said, “We are very proud to present today IntegraleE, the latest addition to the Integral family. At Aura Aero, we are convinced that electric is the future of light aviation, and we are just at the beginning of this revolution!”
