French manufacturer Daher has just completed the 1,000th TBM aircraft.
The aircraft, a TBM 940, had its roll-out at the factory in Tarbes and will be delivered to its owner, an experienced private pilot based in New York, next week.
“Our profession as an aircraft manufacturer is part of our family’s business model, which builds on a long term strategy,” said Patrick Daher, chairman of the Daher Group.
Last year Daher acquired the US-based manufacturer, Kodiak, also a single-engine turboprop but a high-wing design used for humanitarian operations.
