easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou has donated £20,000 to the Air League Trust to support its vision of changing lives through aviation scholarships.
The donation was through the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation which supports a range of charitable activities, mostly in places where Sir Stelios has lived and worked including the UK, Greece, Cyprus and Monaco.
The Foundation has supported the Air League and its work since 2019.
Ian Morrison, Chief Executive Officer of the Air League, said, “This donation will have an immediate impact on the Air League Trust and its exciting plans for 2023 and beyond. We are again delighted that the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation is supporting the Air League and its range of programmes that make a real tangible impact to social mobility through aviation and aerospace.”
