The organisers say:

Santa Claus is coming to town…
Join us again this year for our annual Christmas Event to raise money for our chosen local charity – Charlie’s Beach Hut!
Santa has confirmed with us that he will be arriving at Solent Airport on Monday the 23rd December 2024 at 10am.
The Elves have been busy decorating the Grotto for Santa’s arrival! On the day they will also be opening a workshop for colouring, making reindeer food and writing letters to Santa, but there will also be a Christmas Raffle with amazing prizes donated by generous airport tenants and local businesses!
Entrance fee to Santa’s Grotto is £5 per child and it includes a lovely wrapped gift. Booking slots are between 10:00am to 3:30pm.
To book, please come to our airport reception desk in person. Slots are first come, first served. 100% of the booking fee will go to the charity and please be reminded that we can only accept cash payment.
Elves’ workshop is free for everyone to attend. Donations are appreciated and again 100% will go to the charity.
We have a fantastic Christmas Raffle this year! The Raffle prizes include:
– A Bespoke Keepsake by PropTech Aero Ltd
– An Airbus A320 Simulator Experience from 3Twenty Aviation
– A Trial Flight in a C42 from Phoenix Aviation
– TWO Simulator Experiences from Euro Flight Training
– A £25 Voucher from Caffe Lee
– Family ticket to Sky Solent Museum
– A Magnum of British bubbly
with many more!
We will continue to update this prize list as we approach Christmas! Tickets will sell at £1 per ticket. Keep an eye out on our social media for details on the raffle sale to follow….
This is the Christmas event that you do not want to miss! Come along and enjoy some festive fun. Santa and the team can’t wait to see you 🙂
Note: Charlies’s Beach Hut is a beach hut style caravan at Perran Sands in Perranporth which aims to provide families of children with life limiting illnesses and families of fire-fighters that have suffered bereavement, or life changing injury whilst in the line of duty, a relaxing environment so they can forge some forever memories, in a hope that they too can ‘Find the Wonderful in Today’.
