‘Hundreds’ of amateur-built and vintage aircraft are expected to fly in from across Europe for the two days – a day shorter than usual because the Tour de France cycle race passes close by on Sunday, 7 July, and all the local accommodation has already been booked.

The organisers say, “If you fly in, the rules are simple: Any kind of aircraft is welcome, you just need a radio. No arrival slot to book. No landing fee. Free camping under the wing.”
