Extra Aircraft have restarted production at their factory in Hunxe, Germany . The company, well known for their stunning aerobatic mounts had experienced turbulent times of late, but new US ownership, announced earlier this year seems to be paying dividends.
In addition to the familiar Extra 300L the company also produce the Extra 400 and 500. Six seat pressuirsed singles. The 400 is powered by a liquid cooled 350hp Continental engine, while the 500 is powered by a Rolls Royce turbine.
