Two new pilot training programmes were launched at last week’s Pilot Careers Live London by L3Harris Airline Academy. They are aimed at aspiring aviators at different stages of training.
They are the Integrated ATPL and the Flying Start ATPL, both applicable to students heading for a UKCAA or EASA licence, or a combined licence.
The Integrated ATPL packages L3Harris’ Airline Academy’s commercial pilot training with accommodation through the US flight training phase in Orlando, Florida, with training assurance and access to its Graduate Placement Pool. Optional accommodation packages will be available for new trainees during the UK-based ground school and advanced training phases.
The Flying Start ATPL provides direct entry to the company’s flight training programme for those who have already completed their Theoretical Knowledge ATPL exams. It also packages accommodation during its US flight training phase, training assurance and access to the Graduate Placement Pool.
Both programmes operate from L3Harris’ facilities in the UK and US, including its London Training Centre, UK centre of flight excellence at Cranfield University and the Orlando, Florida flight academy.
The new ATPL and Flying Start ATPL courses will be offered to all new trainees applying from Monday 7 November 2022.
David Coward of L3Harris Airline Academy said, “In response to cost of living increases across the globe we have launched two ATPL programmes at price points we believe reflect the value of our training proposition.
“Our prices now include accommodation throughout the US-based flight training phase, training assurance, providing peace of mind should the trainees need additional training and access to our world-renowned Graduate Placement Pool, providing graduates career services and support as they look to start their airline career. This makes our pricing clear and transparent.”
