German aircraft company Flight Design is continuing its journey back from the brink of going bust. Its Czech manufacturing facility has been awarded Production Organisation Approval (POA) by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
Flight Design’s chief operating officer, Daniel Guenther, said “This is good news for owners of CTLS-ELA aircraft currently operating under EASA’s Permit-to-Fly and for new customers looking for an advanced EASA certified light aircraft.
“We can now offer owners of CTLS-ELA aircraft operating across Europe to bring their planes back to Flight Design for upgrading and conformity confirmation to allow them to have a permanent Restricted Flight Certificate (RTC).”
Flight Design is also accepting new orders for CTLSi-ELA aircraft certified to EASA CS-LSA. The aircraft is powered by a Rotax 912iS fuel injected engine and equipped with a full Dynon SkyView HDX suite.

It has been my dream to learn to fly. I’m an older gentleman on Social Security. Where can we purchase a good older CTLS plane that will pass all inspections and be ready to fly at a lower price?
I believe these guys are selling one, ask for Phil:
