Perhaps best known for his appearances on TV’s ‘Scrapheap Challenge’, Bill was Chief Designer, Director and Test Pilot at P&M Aviation, where he worked on the development of the PulsR and QuikR microlights.
As well as championing all things human-powered flight, Bill has designed and built his own ‘Flycycle’ air/road vehicle, which he’s now converting to electric power, and if that’s not enough, he’s put a Rotax in his Jodel!
