+VIDEO Updated instructions on flying into this year’s LAA Rally being held at Sywell Aerodrome from 3-5 September are now available from the LAA website.
The ‘Abbreviated Version’, as it’s known, is in addition to the official AIC. The main change is that this year’s Rally will not have a FISO Radio service. Instead, there will be a Air/Ground Radio service which places more responsibility on the pilot.
The revised instructions detail the procedure for flying in and also for departures. The instructions and the official AIC both have to be downloaded here and read – booking a slot at Sywell is conditional on these conditions.
