Garmin has announced a new, less expensive pilot watch, the D2 Air Aviator Smartwatch.
Key features include:
- Touchscreen functionality with AMOLED display
- Direct-to navigation and Nearest functions
- Horizontal situation indicator (HSI)
- Aviation weather reports
- Garmin Pilot connectivity to transfer flight plans to the watch, while flyGarmin.com integration automatically starts tracking flight information on takeoff and transfers the date, duration, total flight time and route to flyGarmin.com automatically when the flight is complete
- Non-aviation tools including smartphone notifications, download songs or playlist including several third-party services, Garmin Pay, Pulse Ox, Body Battery, respiration tracking, over 20 sports activities, and another 40+ preloaded on-device animated workouts.
