The General Aviation Safety Council (GASCo) has released the first dates for its winter Safety Evenings, run on behalf of the CAA.
“The Safety Evenings are designed to provide an opportunity to reflect on General Aviation safety as it affects you, the people you fly with, together with your clubs and associations, and will be given by a GASCo Regional Safety Officers (RSO),” said the council.
“We hope that by the end of the evening you will have identified some ideas that you can build on to make your flying even safer and that you will feel able to share your thoughts with other members of the audience.”
Each evening is scheduled to last two hours with a short refreshment break during which pilot log books can be endorsed by the RSO.
Any flying club will would like to run a Safety Evening over the winter of 2018/2019 is urged to contact the GASCo Office. Telephone 01634 200203 or send an e-mail to [email protected]
