Gliding and Business Aviation have always had a place at AERO Friedrichshafen, Europe’s top General Aviation show, but both will have special treatment from 2025.
The AERO Gliding Expo will take place every two years, starting with the next show from 9 to 12 April 2025. It will occupy the largest hall at Messe Friedrichshafen, the purpose-built exhibition space adjacent to Friedrichshafen Airport, with all the leading glider manufacturers and air sports associations.
Business Aviation has a new ‘spectacular’ Dome in the outside static display area, and halls A2 and A3 will be a mix of business and general aviation exhibitors. Drones, which were previously in A2, will move closer to the helicopter area.

“In the coming year, we will offer a completely new, modern event concept for business aviation that meets the industry’s current requirements,” said Tobias Bretzel, AERO show director.
“Short distances between halls and static display, business networking in a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day and at high-quality evening events, and the whole thing with attractive conditions of participation.

“Important manufacturers and suppliers such as Bombardier, Cirrus, Daher, Gulfstream Aerospace, Honda Aircraft, Pilatus, Piper Aircraft, Textron Aviation, Pratt & Whitney, Blackhawk Aerospace, and Hartzell Propeller and many more have already confirmed their participation,” continued Tobias.
“We’re seeing strong participation from charter, MRO and FBO companies such as Platoon Aviation, Atlas Group, DC Aviation Group, DAS Private Jets, and FAI Aviation Group.”
