+VIDEO Can you believe the Jetson One electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) single-seater already has orders for 462 aircraft?

That’s the claim made by the Italian company for its $128,000 manned flying vehicle, with those orders backed up by an $8,000 deposit. Company boss and founder Tomasz Patan says 2024 and 2025 production is sold out with new orders being taken for 2026 delivery.

Jetson has also released a new video showing the One being flown ‘Freestyle’ by Tomasz, through tight turns, sharp twists and even backwards.

“We believe Jetson One plays a role in changing public opinion on eVTOLs,” said Tomasz. “We bridge the gap between sci-fi and reality and most importantly we do not show renderings, we have a working product.

“At Jetson we envision Total Freedom, just as in your imagination. And all this is made easy and accessible. The manoeuvres we perform can be mastered under 60 minutes of flight practice. Taking the controls of the Jetson One for the first time takes just eight sessions in our realistic simulator to master this personal eVTOL.”

The Jetson One has a lightweight aluminium space frame and carbon-kevlar composite body. It’s powered by eight electric motors, has a flight time of up to 20 minutes, a top speed of 63mph, and can carry a pilot’s weight of 95kg.
