The Light Aircraft Association (LAA) has extended its Aviation Art Competition for bored aviation-minded kids to allow entries to be made online.
The entries, in three age categories, 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15, can be drawn, painted or computer generated, with hard-copy versions being scanned, before being sent to: [email protected]
Entries can also still be posted to the LAA’s Turweston headquarters by Tuesday 30 June 2020. Selected entries will be displayed on the LAA’s Facebook page and website in coming weeks.
Later, they will be judged by experts from the LAA, Shuttleworth Collection and the Guild of Aviation Artists. Prizes will include tickets for the winner and family to visit one of the Shuttleworth Collection’s spectacular air shows at Old Warden in Bedfordshire.
