Seventy-nine newly qualified pilots were celebrated at the 2024 Graduation Ceremony of Leading Edge Aviation last week.

This year’s ceremony under the wing of Concorde at Aerospace Bristol was attended by more than 200 family members, friends, and representatives from the aviation industry. Major airlines were also there including British Airways EuroFlyer, British Airways, Loganair, Titan Airways and Wizz Air.

Capt. John Meares, Director of Flight Operations at BA EuroFlyer, and the guest of honour at the event, said, “This is the third time I’ve had the pleasure of attending this fantastic event. It’s wonderful to celebrate what these talented graduates have achieved.

“We didn’t have events like this in my time, and it’s great for students and their families to be able to celebrate their success in this way. It was also fantastic to see so many Leading Edge graduates who have secured roles with BA EuroFlyer. We look forward to welcoming them to the team.”
