Light Aircraft Design Conference set for late November

The annual Light Aircraft Design Conference held by the Royal Aeronautical Society will be on Monday, 25 November this year at the society’s London HQ.

The packed programme includes:

  • Latest electric power systems
  • Development of the Pegasus gyroplane
  • Adapting an automotive diesel engine for flight
  • How to predict the cost of your light aircraft design
  • Common errors in wing design
  • A hydrogen fuel cell system for aircraft
  • The Aerocycle Human Powered Aircraft
  • An update on E Conditions
  • The restoration of the DH-60 Moth Major.

Plus the RAeS will announce the winners of the 2023-24 Design Competition as well as details of the 2024-25 Design Competition.

The conference will be held at RAeS HQ at 4 Hamilton Place, London, W1J 7BQ but will also be streamed live.
