These Safety Evenings, run by the General Aviation Safety Council, run periodically through the winter and spring. First one of the year is at Compton Abbas Airfield on 16 January. More
The world’s biggest helicopter show will be held at Anaheim Conference Center in southern California, with a nearby landing / take-off area for helicopters. It’s mainly for industry with equipment for all sorts of heli ops, but manufacturers often take the opportunity to launch new and updated rotorcraft. More
Usually held every two years, Warbirds over Wanaka has been disrupted over the past few years, like many events, but it’s back. Good news: it’s held in a stunning area of New Zealand’s south island and it’s their summer! Bad news: if you haven’t already booked accommodation, you may struggle. More

It’s back! The much-missed Rally by the Light Aircraft Association (LAA) is back this summer, this time at Leicester Airport. It’s central England and therefore handy for most pilots, plus it’s a hot bed of LAA activity too. Rumour is that the LAA is planning to keep the event here for some while to come. More
