The working group trying to sort out problems with retrieving Notam from the AIS website is due to meet with representatives from AIS and Nats for an update on improvements on February 6.
As before, it will be chaired by John Gentleman from the CAA, and attended by Mike Cross and Russell Howton who besides representing GA are supplying IT advice; Rod Bailes-Brown who will represent the PFA’s interests; Andrew Roch who will represent gliding, and Martin Robinson from Aopa. It is not yet known who will represent Nats and AIS.
Problems were again experienced by pilots trying to obtain Notam over the Christmas/New Year holiday. According to the last meeting on November 15, all the problems are supposed to be sorted out by this March. Not long to go, then.
