The first remanufactured Piper Warrior produced by Thruxton-based Reborn Aviation has been delivered to its customer – Aerobility, the charity which offers disabled people the chance to fly.
The Reborn Warrior has benefited from over fifty separate upgrades, including a Lycoming factory re-built engine, a new propeller, Garmin G500 glass cockpit and avionics including terrain and traffic awareness, aerodynamic fairings and LED landing lights (see FLYER Summer 2017).
The 1974 aircraft has a new bespoke paint scheme and interior, and comes with a warranty for the airframe, engine and avionics. It has also been fitted with adapted flying controls to enable a range of disabilities to fly it.
Reborn Aviation and Aerobility have collaborated closely on the aircraft for the past six months.

“As soon as we heard about the Reborn Aviation Warrior it immediately made sense, bringing the aircraft back to better than new with the latest avionics, aerodynamic modifications and safety features.”
Reborn Aviation is currently remanufacturing a Piper Arrow and is planning more Warriors.
