Richard Grace, pilot and engineer at Air Leasing and Ultimate Warbirds, has died.
“Richard leaves behind his wife, Daisy, their two children, Allegra and Stirling, and his sisters Olivia and Nicola,” said a statement from the family.
Historian, broadcaster and author James Holland said, “Absolutely devastated to hear the terrible news that Richard Grace has lost his battle with cancer. He really was one of the very best: kind, generous, thoughtful, self-deprecating, funny, a brilliant pilot and aviation engineer and husband to a lovely wife and father to gorgeous young kids. My thoughts are with his family, his friends and his colleagues. This is a terrible loss and a very sad day for the aviation world.”
