In March we reported on a letter sent to GA residents at EGHI (Southampton). The letter explained, very politely, that due to an increase in commercial traffic and a lack of space it would be necessary for the six resident private owners to relocate their aircraft.
We’re happy to report that after what we are told was a ‘vigorous campaign’ the residents and BAA Southampton have reached an agreement that meets the needs of all concerned, and that the resident GA aircraft now have their own parking area.
