Motorglider specialist Stemme has introduced its new Sky Sportster S6 EW. With a 20m wingspan, that’s two-metres more than the previous model, the aircraft has a glide ratio of 1:38, plus a new wing design that should increase the range by 5%.
Crucially for GA pilots who are identifying motorgliders as a path to lower cost touring, the new Sportster also boasts an increase in fuel efficiency of 5%.
Stemme also took the chance to announce a new network of European dealers, including Henrick Burkal who will head the UK operation from his base at Manston. Henrik is also the UK dealer for Diamond Aircraft.
