Tecnam has upgraded its long-running and best-selling piston twin, the P2006T with a ‘new generation’ model – and a Sports version aimed private buyers.
More than 400 of the original P2006T have been built with most in use with flight schools as a multi-engine training aircraft.
Now the MkII version, the P2006T NG was unveiled at AERO will more than 300 improvements, many suggested by customers.

Tecnam is also offering a premium version: the P2006 NG Sport featuring ‘all-Italian’ design with a black leather dashboard, soft LED lights, carbon-look panels, yokes and central console covered in leather. The cabin has Alcantara headliners, moquette seats, leather side walls and side panels with carbon look logos.
The launch customer is Spanish flying school Fly-By which already operates a fleet of Tecnam aircraft. The P2006T NG will be launched first within EASA approved countries.
