Van's Aircraft gives update on company situation

Van’s Aircraft has given an honest update on how the US kitplane manufacturer is coping with the financial crisis that engulfed it in late October.

Greg Hughes, vice-president of Van’s, said in a video released on Monday that they had almost finished an assessment of the business and would be able to share more information next week. That includes a full inventory that’s allowed the shipping of some small parts to restart.

One of the key issues that created the crisis was on laser cut parts, and Greg said, “[We will have] special laser cut parts lists for each individual kit owner for their kit that’ll be more refined and you can look forward to receiving that soon.”
