British Aerobatics is once again holding a lottery draw to win a flight in a Spitfire.
This ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity includes a 30-minute flight experience in a two-seat Spitfire TR9 with Boultbee Flight Academy and an overnight stay with dinner for two at Goodwood Hotel.
Tickets are £20 each and only 1,000 will be sold. The draw date is 11 March 2020. Buy tickets through the British Aerobatics website – link below.
Proceeds from the lottery will go towards the British Aerobatic Team training and support fund in preparation for World and European Championships. A donation will also be made to the registered charity Aerobility who facilitate a range of flying training and flying experiences for disabled people.
It’s the fourth time British Aerobatics has held the Spitfire draw. Alan Begley, the first winner, said,
“It was a privilege to be given the opportunity to fly in such an iconic piece of British history.
“From the briefing and first roar of the Merlin engine right through to the flight, aerobatics and landing, the whole experience was exhilarating.
“It was simply one of the most exciting and memorable things I have ever done!”
