One of the side effects of the current climate is that manufacturers and distributors are becoming eager to sell off the aircraft they have in stock, and that’s leading to some nice incentives to buy.
The latest example of this is from Diamond Aircraft, whose ‘Escape the Storm – Invest in Diamonds’ incentive offers maintenance, insurance, fuel and flight training all free for a year – a package which could add up to $13,250 in savings (if you’re in the US you could also benefit from substantial tax breaks). The offer applies to deliveries – note, that’s not orders! – made before the end of 2008.
Although this offer is intended for the US market, UK dealer <a href=’http://www.diamonair.co.uk’ target=’_blank’>Diamond Aircraft UK</a> says that if people are quick, it may be able to supply an aircraft (albeit on the N-reg, as the offer only applies to US/Canadian registered DA40 aircraft) to allow you to take advantage of at least some details of the offer.
