Aerobility's Mike Miller-Smith awarded MBE

Congratulations to Mike Miller Smith, CEO of flying charity Aerobility, for his well-deserved inclusion in the New Years Honours list. Mike will be awarded an MBE after leading Aerobility to a memorable 2012 which included the incredible fly-by to open the Paralympics, a world-record simulator flight supported by high profile pilots including Buzz Aldrin and the Aviator’s Ball.
Mike said, “I’m so privileged to be involved with helping people with disabilities to fly and to be supported by some great people, many of whom frequent the FLYER forums. It genuinely is a team effort at Aerobility. Roll on 2013!”
Aerobility is a registered charity based at Blackbushe Airfield which does great work offering people with disabilities the opportunity to fly aircraft, with the aim of changing their outlook on disability.
