Airbox Aerospace is to launch a fully sunlight readable 7in portable GPS called the Foresight SuperBright retailing at £1599 including VAT.
The Foresight SuperBright is the same, dimensionally, as the Foresight 2.0 but is fitted with a newly developed 1000+ nit bonded touchscreen and PCB driver giving it an ability to be seen in the harshest lighting conditions.
For Foresight 2.0 customers, the devices can be retrospectively upgraded with the new screen technology for £699 (including VAT).
All units come with CAA 1:500,000 VFR charting for the UK and France charts as standard but can have a choice of additional charting added at the click of a button via Fastplan including London Heliroutes, Ordnance Survey charts, 1:250,000 scale charts and an array of foreign charts.
Fastplan, Airbox’s comprehensive Flight Planning software for PC is also included with the unit.
Deliveries will commence in mid June, preorders are being taken now.
