Airways Aero Association has been awarded the UK & Ireland Dealership for Tecnam. It is expecting to have a Tecnam P2006T twin arriving in May as a demonstrator, with more aircraft due to arrive in time for Aero Expo at Wycombe Air Park from 25-27 June.
Tim Orchard from Airways Aero commented: “The P2006T is a very exciting piece of technology and shows the direction in which aeroplanes and engineering should be heading. It really is way ahead of anything else out there. This machine is a practical and affordable alternative to an ageing lumbering, old-technology twin, while offering the private pilot an affordable and easy conversion to variable-pitch propellers, retractable undercarriage and glass cockpit facilities.”
As well as being the Tecnam dealer, Airways Aero will provide training on the aircraft through the Airways Flying Club, along with maintenance support.
