At the recent Expo Aero Brasil Air Show, Avio International Group Holdings announced its intention to return the Stelio Frati-designed F22 Pinguino line of aircraft to production.
Matteo Fiocco of Avio told FLYER, “Yes, during the next months we will be putting the F22 into production, though at the moment we still don’t have a precise idea of timing”. Both the F22A and F22C would eventually be produced by the company, which intends to build a new facility at Maringà airport.
The 50,000 sq/m development will include an aircraft manufacturing facility, a research and development facility and a flying club.
