Blackpool RMZ withdrawn ahead of schedule

The UK CAA has announced that the Radio Mandatory Zone (RMZ) introduced at Blackpool Airport has been withdrawn, more than three weeks ahead of schedule.
The temporary airspace change was put in place to cover the replacement of the airport’s radar on 27 August 2013. The project to replace the radar has been completed sooner than the airport expected.
