Bristol Aero Club relocates to Cotswold Airport

Following the closure of Filton on 21 December 2012, Bristol Aero Club has relocated to Cotswold Airport.
Two of the club’s aircraft G-BBXW and G-BASJ were among the last aircraft to depart Filton. In a statement, the club said, ‘The members are determined to see the closure of Filton not as a setback but as an opportunity to promote an interest in flying as a social activity in the Cotswold area.’
The non-profit Club is run by volunteers and offers members the opportunity to learn to fly and hire aircraft.
