Bristol Groundschool enters PPL theory market

Bristol Groundschool, a leading specialist in distance learning and training for EASA/UK CAA professional pilot licence theory exams, has launched into the PPL training.

The move follows the 2020 change when the UK CAA introduced a more comprehensive question bank and more extensive, electronic-based exams.

Bristol Groundschool’s computer-based training software, ATPdigital, has been expanded to include PPL materials. Student pilots are guided through their learning with quizzes, progress tests and exam-style questions and more. The software is compatible with Windows and Mac laptops as well as iPads, and is available to all students sitting their exams with the UK CAA or an EASA member state.

“We are now able to bring the same level of professionalism to PPL theory training as we offer in the professional pilot training market,” said Alex Whittingham, managing director and founder of Bristol Groundschool.

“My team have produced a system that gives candidates a comprehensive, market-leading platform to develop their knowledge and inspire exam success whatever their current ability.”

In addition to the new PPL training materials in ATPdigital, Bristol Groundschool has developed a new PPL question bank within BGSonline, a web-based resource for exam revision and preparation.

“Together, the materials provide everything future pilots need to take their exams with confidence.”

The Bristol Groundschool system is available via leading flight schools and flying clubs, or direct from BGS.
