Bristows takes over Severn Aviation

Bristow Helicopters has bought Severnside Aviation, the multi-engine instrument flight training provider based at Gloucestershire airport..

The school will now become The Bristow Academy Gloucester with a campus on the airfield operating AS355 Twin Squirrels. The Academy will also use Elite Evolution S723 FNPT II devices.

Bristow says that the acquisition ‘will enhance Bristow’s ability to maintain the supply of qualified pilots into the North Sea and out other operations round the world.’
