With immediate effect, City Airport & Heliport (Manchester Barton) is offering two months free outside (grass) parking at the Airport for any privately owned/operated aircraft or helicopter which has not been based here during the preceding 6 months.
Following the two month free period, the aircraft/helicopter may continue to park at the airfield by signing a permanent parking agreement and paying the standard monthly charge by standing order. Alternatively the aircraft may leave the airfield without paying any parking charges.
Nick Duriez, Operations Manager commented, “This new initiative is one of several we are offering at the Airport & Heliport and we are hopeful that this will further stimulate aviation activity at the airfield following a challenging 2012.”
