Deliveries of the new Corvalis 400 have been suspended by Cessna after the composite structure of the wing of a newly built aircraft unbonded during the plane’s shakedown flight. According to reports, a wing fuel leak was detected during a production flight, after which the FAA issued an emergency airworthiness directive stating that seven feet of skin disbonded from the upper forward wing spar. The unbonding is said to have effected eight aeroplanes, none of which is in service yet.
