Diamond completes 1st DA42 NG conversion

Diamond Aircraft has completed the first conversion of a Thielert equipped DA42. The aeroplane, belonging to a Spanish flight school, had both engines replaced by Austro Engine AE300 units. There are two further conversions in the pipeline, both from schools in the UK.
The conversion costs €99,000 and takes between two and four weeks.
