EASA approves Avidyne autopilot for C182s

Avidyne Corporation has announced they have received EASA approval of the DFC90 Digital Autopilot in European-registered Cessna 182-series aircraft, when interfaced with the Evolution Pro Primary Flight Display (PFD) from Aspen Avionics of Albuquerque.
“We are pleased to have EASA approval of the DFC90 for the C182,” said Patrick Herguth, Avidyne’s Chief Operating Officer. “The DFC90 has garnered rave reviews across the industry, and owners of European-registered aircraft have been looking forward to gaining access for its performance and safety features like Envelope Protection, full-time Envelope Alerting, the Straight and Level button.”
This EASA STC covers the DFC90 autopilot as a plug-and-play retrofit of existing STEC55X systems in 16 models of the Cessna 182 Skylane Series, find out more at www.avidyne.com
