EU Charts for Aspen's Evolution Flight Display

Aspen Avionics and Seattle Avionics Software, developer of aviation software and data solutions, have announced the availability of European Chart Data on Evolution Multi-function Displays (MFDs) installed with software version 2.2 or later.
Sourced from Eurocontrol, this new ChartData coverage contains information for 45 European countries.
According to Aspen, the data includes aerodromes, instrument approach charts, visual approach charts, standard departure charts, standard arrival charts, aerodrome obstacle charts, ground movement charts, waypoint lists, control area charts, and ATC surveillance minimum altitude charts.
“We are pleased to offer our European customers this latest system enhancement,” said Brad Hayden, Aspen’s Vice President of Marketing. “The easy-to-use integration provides comprehensive procedural information right at the pilot’s fingertips and also gives owners more value from their glass panel investment.”

Existing customers flying N-registered aircraft in Europe fall under Aspen’s FAA AML-STC and most likely meet the minimum software requirement to install European charts. Owners flying EASA registered aircraft are encouraged to contact their installer for more information on the upgrade path.

Aspen’s ChartData software comes standard on all Evolution MFDs and subscription updates are available from Seattle Avionics Software. Annual subscriptions cost €499.

To activate the ChartData subscription, new customers can set up a free account
at the Seattle Avionics Software website www.seattleavionics.com/aspen.
