EuroFOX Aviationhas announced that two new engine options are available for customer orders for a EuroFOX aircraft in the UK.
Aeropro s.r.o, the EuroFOX manufacturer in Slovakia, together with EuroFOX Aviation, the LAA and Rotax have teamed up to provide two new engine options, the Rotax 912iS (100hp) and the Rotax 914UL (115hp). These engine options supplement the existing EuroFOX engine choices of the Rotax 912UL (80hp) and Rotax 912ULS (100hp). Each of the four Rotax engine choices have 2000 hours TBO.
Aerorpo and EuroFOX Aviation have been working on this project for the last nine months, and the first EuroFOX 912iS aircraft example will make its public debut at the AeroExpo show in Friedrichshafen, Germany in April 2014. Following that the aircraft will be in the UK and present at all the 2014 UK air shows.
The installation of the 912iS requires a completely new cowling design and firewall forward installation. This same installation package is also designed to suit the Rotax 914UL turbo charged engine, an example of which should be available later in 2014. <a href=”http://www.eurofox.co.uk”>Click here for more</a>
