The new UK Avgas brand, Warter Aviation UK, has reported its first delivery of UL 91 to Fenland Aero Club.
Based at Fenland Airfield, Holbeach St Johns, the Aero Club received 4,500 litres last week, as part of WARTER Aviation UK’s regular 36,000 litre tanker delivery circuit.
Gerald Cooper, UK National Aerobatic Champion and a partner in WARTER aviation UK commented, “For many sport pilots, UL 91 is the fuel of choice, but there is currently very restricted availability. We are able to mix and match tanker loads using selected compartments on board – and we expect to be commencing deliveries of UL 91 (and indeed 100LL) in drums very shortly.”
According to Warter, up to twenty UK airfields are currently supplied by WARTER Aviation UK, with more coming on board every week. The current tanker delivery from Poland will shortly be accompanied by drum deliveries (a minimum of four drums per pallet) and ISO container loads for the bigger users.
