Czech Sport Aircraft has announced the first UK delivery of the EASA-certified PS-28 Cruiser.
The aircraft will immediately enter into service at the newly-established PS-28 Cruiser Flight & Distribution Centre at Compton Abbas Airfield. The aircraft will be used by Abbas Air flight school for basic and advanced flight training as well as for recreational and rental purposes, in addition to serving as the new demonstrator aircraft for Kairos Aviation in its role as distributor of the PS-28 Cruiser for the United Kingdom.
Commenting on the delivery, Matthew Harvey, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Czech Sport Aircraft said, “We really are delighted to be handing over G-EGHA this afternoon. With Czech Sport Aircraft having already achieved success in the past in the United Kingdom with the SportCruiser as both a quick-build Kit and factory-produced Permit aircraft, we now see this as the start of a new and exciting chapter with the certified PS-28 Cruiser.”
The PS-28 Cruiser is a double-seat aircraft of full metal construction. The aircraft is arranged as a low-wing mono-plane with cantilevered wings and conventional empennage. The PS-28 Cruiser is type certified for VFR Day operations according to EASA CS-LSA regulations and can be fully commercially operated in EASA countries or in countries where the PS-28 Cruiser obtained local CAA Type Certification.
