Following its UK launch way back in 2011, the Robinson R66 finally received its EASA certification only recently, and AeroExpo gave Heli Air the chance to display the first G-reg model.
Heli Air’s Sales & Marketing Director, Brian Kane, explained that five more R66s are due to be delivered to the UK in 2014, with up to 10 models to be registered this side of 2015.Brian also mentioned that Heli Air has just opened its ninth base, Heli Air Scotland Ltd, at Cumbernauld, commenting, “The plan was always to establish a national network of bases so that our customers didn’t have to travel hundreds of miles for sales, service and maintenance.” <a href=’http://www.heliair.com’ target=’_blank’>www.heliair.com</a>
