FLYER takes over The Flying Show

The BMAA is pleased to announce that Seager Publishing will be taking over the controls for The Flying Show 2014. Seager, the publishers of FLYER magazine, has been working with the BMAA on the show for the past three years. This year they will be organising the show entirely and they are committed to making the event even more successful than last year’s.
According to Geoff Weighell, Chief Executive of the BMAA, “This move will be a great benefit to the BMAA. The work of organising and running the show has increased over the years and now needs specialist input that we are not really geared up to give. Seager already runs successful flight training events all over the world and so have the expertise to make the Flying Show an equally successful event.”
The move will not affect the BMAA presence at the show. Seager has promised that the BMAA, along with other supporting associations, will continue to benefit from free exhibition space and members will be offered discount entry. Plans to hold the BMAA AGM at the event have not changed.
Geoff added, “The BMAA will continue to enthusiastically support and promote the show and we are sure that, with Seager Publishing’s marketing muscle and commitment, the show will continue to go from strength to strength, and be an all-round benefit to sport and recreational aviation pilots and suppliers.”
