FLYER to launch aviation weather channel

Great news for a new year. FLYER is launching an exclusive online weather forecast service which will provide readers with two free aviation weather briefings from Simon Keeling per week. Starting on Thursday 9 January 2014, the forecasts will be hosted exclusively at www.flyer.co.uk on Mondays and Thursdays.
The forecasts, which are sponsored by Aspen Avionics, are the latest development of FLYER market-leading web-based services which already include Europe’s most established and popular flyer’s forum, the most successful GA daily news update in the UK and a host of other services and products.
FLYER editor, Ian Waller, explained, “The FLYER team is incredibly excited by the launch of this new General Aviation forecast service designed specifically for flyers. By working with such a respected figure as Simon Keeling from the Weather Consultancy Service, we are confident of supplying a high quality service that all General Aviation flyers will be able to access for free.
“FLYER’s whole ethos is focused on helping to provide UK flyers with the tools they need to go flying more often and make the most of the time that they’re airborne. This initiative adds to this programme by giving those flyers an easy-to-access weather service that will offer a straightforward approach to met.” Click here for more
