FLYER writers nominated for Journalist of the Year

A number of FLYER Journalists have been shortlisted for the prestigious Aerospace Journalist of the Year Awards (<a href=’http://www.ajoya.com/’ target=’_blank’>www.ajoya.com</a>), which this year will be presented at the Pavillon d’Armenonville in Paris on the evening of 17th June. The Paris Airshow opens at Le Bourget the following day.

The FLYER nominations are:

<b>Brian Lecomber</b> for <i>A runway horribly, deadly close</i>

<u><b>The Rockwell Collins Award for Best Avionics Submission</b></u>
<b>Philip Whiteman and Miles McCallum</b> for <i>State of the art avionics</i>

<u><b>The Cessna Award for Best General Aviation Submission</b></u>
<b>Brian Lecomber</b> for <i>Classic biplane fly-off</i>
<b>Philip Whiteman</b> for <i>Meeting the mastermind</i>

<u><b>The RAeS Award for Best Propulsion Submission</b></u>
<b>Miles McCallum</b> for <i>Rotax – the engine that revived general aviation</i>
