Earlier this year Epic Aircraft, manufacturer of a $1.8m turbine kit aircraft, closed their doors and went into Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Today (December 7) will see another court hearing at which four bidders are expected to try to buy the company out of that position. Although the identities of the bidders is currently unknown, rumours suggest that at least one is an existing aircraft manufacturer, and another a well known industry figure.
